Professor Fredrik Almqvist to present at Bioscience Gothenburg 2025

QureTech Bio AB (“QureTech”), a biotechnology company developing a new class of antibacterials, today announced that Fredrik Almqvist, CSO and co-founder of QureTech Bio, will be presenting at the upcoming Bioscience Gothenburg 2025 conference.
Fredrik Almqvist, who is also a Professor in Organic Chemistry at Umeå University and Director of the Umeå Centre for Microbial Research (UCMR), will be sharing insights from the latest research on antibiotic resistance. His presentation will focus on the groundbreaking work being done at QureTech to develop a new class of small molecule antibacterials to combat bacterial infections and resistance.
Bioscience Gothenburg is an international partnering event that brings together leading researchers and professionals in the life science sector to address major challenges and share the latest research findings. The event will take place on April 2, 2025, at GoCo House in Göteborg-Mölndal.
